Experience the thrill of night vision in VR with *VR Night Vision Goggles*, a tech demo designed for HTC Vive and Vive Pro 2. While currently a bit unstable on Quest 3 and Quest Pro due to HMD origin differences, it offers an immersive glimpse into panoramic night vision simulation. Created as an affordable alternative to real-world night vision gear, this demo lets you explore detailed environments under the glow of simulated NVG optics. The project, built in Unity, will soon be available on GitHub for developers and enthusiasts to explore and expand. High-quality environment assets are provided by Quixel, while the 3D night vision goggles model comes from VassKacsoHunor under a Creative Commons Attribution license. The star-filled sky is based on NASA's scientific visualizations and Gaia DR2 data, with constellation designs adapted from Sky & Telescope magazine.
