VR Construction Wrecker

Description

VR Construction Wrecker is a student-developed VR experience created as part of a Virtual and Augmented Reality course at Southern Denmark University. Designed for both PC and standalone VR headsets like the Oculus Quest, this immersive simulation puts you in control of a massive wrecking ball crane. Climb a 70-meter ladder using motion controls, enter the crane cabin, and take command of the destruction with intuitive, diegetic controls. The environment features procedurally destructible structures that realistically collapse and shatter when struck, with physics-driven object dependencies ensuring realistic chain reactions. Enhanced rope physics and visuals add to the authenticity of each swing. The experience supports Steam VR via Oculus Air Link or Virtual Desktop, while Quest users can install the APK via SideQuest. Comfort settings are fixed to smooth movement and turning using the left and right analog sticks, without vignette. VR Construction Wrecker delivers a satisfying sense of scale and destruction in a compact, hands-on VR package.
