Volley is a fast-paced arcade game created for the Pursuing Pixels James Jam Game #2, centered around the theme "Penalized." In this high-energy challenge, you kick a ball to eliminate enemies as quickly as possible. Letting the ball hit the ground results in a 10-second penalty, so precision and timing are key. Gain extra jumps by kicking the ball mid-air, and deflect enemy bullets to turn the tide in your favor. Each level offers three stars: one for clearing all enemies, one for keeping the ball airborne, and one for collecting the hidden coin—earning all three is no easy feat. While progress isn't saved between sessions due to a jam limitation, you can replay levels freely during a single run.
