Educational
Visvi
Visvi is a concise 2D side-scrolling game developed in just four weeks for my Game Studio 1 class. Designed for young children at an early reading level, it follows the journey of a Native American child learning the Cherokee language. Players guide the protagonist through everyday tasks and fetch quests, all while helping their grandmother prepare the famous Cherokee Grape Dumplings. The game blends simple storytelling with interactive learning, making language acquisition fun and engaging. With colorful visuals and intuitive jugabilidad, Visvi introduces cultural heritage in an accessible way. It’s ideal for introducing kids to new languages and traditions through play. The project highlights both creative design and educational value, showing how games can support learning in a meaningful context. Visvi stands out as a heartfelt and practical example of educational gaming. It’s a meaningful step forward in making learning enjoyable for young audiences.
