Description

VicDor is an accessible audio-based exploration game designed for blind or visually impaired children, as well as those with cognitive and/or motor disabilities (compatible with Windows XP, 7, 8, and 10). Created in collaboration with the Victor-Doré special education school, it offers a simple, failure-free experience ideal for children aged five and up. Players help VicDor celebrate his birthday by guiding him along a short, four-minute path using just one key. As he moves forward, he meets friends who join him on his way to the birthday cake. The game features combined sound and visual stimuli, encouraging focus and communication in a playful environment. It can be played in the dark, making it fully accessible to non-sighted users. Designed for ease of use, VicDor promotes inclusion through intuitive, one-key navigation and an engaging audio narrative.
