Vestigia: Joust

Vestigia: Joust is the first historical jousting simulator built on Unreal Engine 5, offering a realistic recreation of medieval tournaments. Players step into the role of a knight, selecting from authentic environments and opponents to test their skills in physics-driven duels. The game captures the intensity and tradition of 16th-century jousting, where every move and strategy matters. Designed primarily for keyboard and mouse, it also supports controllers, though a mouse is essential for navigating menus. Currently in Early Access, Vestigia: Joust aims to expand its content significantly. Future updates will introduce new arenas, opponents, character customization, equipment upgrades, and horse and armor enhancements. The team plans to add replay features, a narrative modo historia with branching dialogues and rivalries, and a reputation system. Developed by Vestigia, an indie studio founded by historians, the game strives for historical accuracy while inviting players to experience and shape history in a fresh, engaging way.
