Venti Mesi
Is a narrative-driven indie game set in Milan’s Sesto San Giovanni, chronicling 20 pivotal months of the Italian Resistance from September 1943 to April 1945. Developed with support from Coop Lombardia for the city’s “Oggi, 25 aprile 1945” project, the game features an original banda sonora by Francesco Fontana and narration by Germano Lanzoni. Released in Italian on September 12, 2015, with an English versión launching January 27, 2016—coinciding with Holocaust Remembrance Day—it earned nominations at the Emotional Games Awards, Premio Drago d’Oro 2016 (Best Italian Game and Art), and the Autori di Immagini Annual Awards. Blending historical depth with interactive storytelling, *Venti Mesi* stands out as a poignant tribute to resilience and collective memory.
