In Utopian Maintenance, you step into the role of a server administrator tasked with helping a community build a digital utopia. Your mission is to locate scattered USB drives and connect them to terminals by solving intuitive wiring puzzles. Navigate the environment using standard movement controls, interact with objects using E, and manage your inventory with the scroll wheel. Be careful when dropping USBs—tossing one into a wall can result in a softlock, so precision matters. The game features a retro-inspired aesthetic powered by the IBM DOS ISO8 font and atmospheric chiptune-style music, including tracks by Scott Buckley remixed through Audio Pixelator. Built in Godot, it uses open-source tools for input buffering and object outlines, ensuring smooth jugabilidad.
