Description

Unlichtwesen is a compact yet intense roguelike where you face off against procedurally generated demons in tense 1-on-1 turn-based duels. Armed with one of four distinct weapons—each offering two unique attack modes—you must study your foe's behavior and strike with precision. Every demon features a custom combination of abilities and movement patterns, making timing and positioning crucial to survival. The game challenges you to defeat 10 demons to claim victory, with a built-in training area to refine your skills. After each battle, you can trade demon files with friends to compare results and compete. Originally created for the 7DRL 2017 challenge, Unlichtwesen delivers a focused, strategic experience that proves depth doesn't require length.
