Unity Echo
Unity Echo is a prototype inspired by *Lone Echo* and *Echo Arena*, focusing on recreating their unique zero-G mechanics—a rarity in gaming. The project features a tablet-based UI, procedural hand animations, and physically accurate zero-G movement with full upper body IK and lower body physics. Players can interact with moving vehicles and experience realistic weightless motion, though a cautionary "zero-G mode" is included to simulate true zero gravity. Developed using Unity’s physics engine on a Meta Quest 2 with PC-connected controllers, the prototype emphasizes core mechanics through simple blockout levels and light puzzles. While some issues persist—like geometry clipping during rotations—the design prioritizes intuitive feedback and immersion. Unedited jugabilidad is available on YouTube, and the SideQuest page offers early access. Though limited by reliance on Unity’s high-level tools, the project captures the essence of its inspirations. Check it out to explore how zero-G jugabilidad could evolve beyond existing titles.
