The game emphasizes atmosphere and tension over combat—getting lost isn’t failure, just a chance to discover new paths. Players must adapt to the oppressive environment while uncovering eerie, mystical secrets hidden in the depths. Designed by students Lia Puigmitjà, Agustín Kohan, and Victor Langa during the 2022/23 academic year at the Barcelona Institute of Technology, this prototype blends survival horror with immersive exploration. Experience a unique blend of suspense and discovery in a world where every shadow hides a story. This project showcases how minimal resources can create a rich, atmospheric experience. The game invites players to embrace curiosity and resilience in the face of the unknown. Under the Water Depths offers a fresh take on exploration-driven jugabilidad.
