Umbra Nolia

Description

Umbra Nolia is a tactical, grid-based RPG where combat unfolds through a dynamic card-driven system. Lead a party of eight unique characters, each wielding a personalized deck of nine cards, and assign roles based on their abilities and strengths. Battles take place on procedurally generated maps, featuring terrain and status effects that influence strategy, with clear visual cues to guide your decisions. A turn-order system lets you anticipate enemy moves and plan accordingly, while intuitive UI tools—like card zoom and tooltips—enhance the tactical experience. Face off against three distinct enemies, each with unique behaviors, and master movement and attack mechanics rooted in precise grid-based positioning. Though the current build showcases the core combat loop, more features are coming, including an overworld map, story progression via a visual novel system, expanded card pools, new environments, and an affection system that strengthens bonds between characters—unlocking stat boosts in battle. The world of Umbra Nolia is expanding, offering deeper strategy and richer storytelling with every update.
