Description
Two Interviewees" is a narrative-driven indie game developed by Mauro Vanetti during a one-day course in 2016. The game explores gender bias in job interviews, featuring two distinct characters: Martin, a man, and Irene, a woman. Despite identical questions and answers, the players must navigate subtle differences in how their responses are perceived. Originally created in Italian, it now supports multiple languages including English, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Korean, thanks to a visual overhaul by Emanuele Klemp. The project remains free to play, with donations aimed solely at promotion. Its core message highlights the impact of gender stereotypes in professional settings. The game's minimalist design and focus on dialogue make it a unique tool for sparking conversations about equality. Available on various platforms, it invites players to reflect on fairness in hiring practices. This project exemplifies how small teams can drive meaningful social discourse through interactive storytelling. Two Interviewees is a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusive dialogue in modern workplaces.
