Two Bit Hero
Two Bit Hero drops you into a retro metroidvania adventure where you must prove yourself as more than just a "two-bit hero." The city’s main superhero has been overpowered by a group of villains who can glitch reality itself, trapping citizens inside a skyscraper. Your mission is to infiltrate the building, gather power-ups, defeat enemies, and rescue those in danger—all while navigating shifting realities caused by glitches. The game features two large, interconnected maps that look and feel the same, yet behave differently. Careful use of glitches between realities is key to progressing. You can upgrade your character by collecting items scattered throughout both worlds. The experience is handcrafted, with balanced jugabilidad and a retro aesthetic enhanced by chiptune music from Trevor Lentz. An easy mode eases newcomers into the genre, and three distinct endings reward different playstyles. The game works with most controllers, though some may have compatibility issues—try another controller or keyboard if needed. Two Bit Hero offers a nostalgic yet fresh.
