Trireme Commander

Trireme Commander offers a realistic and immersive simulation of ancient Greek and Persian naval warfare through the use of rowed war galleys. As cadets, users complete challenges like racing and sinking enemy ships before advancing to the rank of Captain. The game features four Helmsman scenarios, including duels against enemy galleys, reconnaissance missions in the Salamis straits, and a detailed Signals Tutorial for coordinating fleet formations. Progression leads to commanding a full squadron in battles against enemies of varying sizes, culminating in epic recreations of historical events like the Battle of Salamis and the Battle of Artemisium. Players also encounter fictionalized scenarios, such as open-sea clashes and the straits of Megara. Each scenario includes audio guides, diagrams, and historical context, all set around the strategic island of Salamis.
