Description

TorchBear is a roguelite deckbuilder that blends monster-slaying action with strategic card management. Players defend the world using Bear and Torch cards, each growing stronger as you collect more of the same type. After each battle, you pick a trio of cards to expand your deck, aiming to survive all five challenging levels. This expanded versión, presented at Playtest Planet 2025 in Chicago, builds on an earlier prototype with added depth and replayability. The game offers a unique twist on deckbuilding, combining tactical combat with resource gathering. Thanks to feedback from the event, the latest build includes bug fixes and balance tweaks for a smoother experience. TorchBear is perfect for fans of strategic card games and roguelite challenges.
