The Witching Hour
The Witching Hour is a creative project born from a university student team’s coursework, designed as an early alpha game. Drawing inspiration from classics like Trine, Tomb Raider, and Skyrider, it delivers a casual, single-player puzzle platformer experience. The game stands out with its unique USP: players can build platforms anywhere in the world, offering endless possibilities and a strong sense of control. Set in a vibrant fantasy world, it features diverse biomes and a stylized art style tailored for younger and casual audiences. The story begins in a central hub town, connecting four distinct levels. Each level unlocks new abilities, encouraging creative problem-solving and replayability. By the end, players master all skills to tackle the final challenge. Reviewed by Falmouth Games Academy, The Witching Hour blends imaginative design with accessible jugabilidad, making it a standout title for fans of puzzle adventures. It’s a fresh take on exploration and platforming that invites players to shape their own journey.
