The Four

Is a 2D platform puzzle game rooted in ancient Chinese mythology. Players take on the role of a guardian tasked with sealing four legendary creatures: **LOONG**, **BIRD**, **TIGER**, and **TORTOISNAKE**, while uncovering the world’s hidden mysteries. The game blends classic platforming challenges with innovative mechanics centered around four elemental forces—**Wood**, **Fire**, **Gold**, and **Water**—each tied to a mythical being. Players harness elemental skills that evolve as they progress, unlocking new abilities tied to the **Elemental Layers** shaped by The Four’s influence. Each of the four elemental regions features 16 puzzles spread across multiple scenes, demanding careful problem-solving. While death isn’t permanent, navigating these areas is far from simple. Early access grants access to the **Wood (LOONG)** zone, with other secrets gradually revealed as players master the core systems. The Four’s blend of mythic storytelling and lay.
