The Building 71 Incident
Is a chilling PC game born from real-life mystery. Set between 1997 and 1998, it follows a Brazilian university building shut down after a gas leak claim. But whispers of strange activity persisted. A staff member, refusing to stay silent, secretly recorded the events—only to vanish, leaving fragments of his footage behind. Now, these eerie recordings are shared publicly, fueling intrigue. Created by Bruno Pressanto in two months for his undergraduate thesis under Professor Marcelo Fardo, the game blends found-footage horror with psychological tension. Players explore the abandoned structure, uncovering clues tied to the missing employee’s fate. The narrative leans into raw, unsettling visuals and ambient sound design to amplify dread. Available in Portuguese and English, it’s a labor of passion, reflecting Bruno’s dedication to storytelling through immersive, low-budget creativity. Supporters can back the project via Ko-Fi, while fans are encouraged to share jugabilidad on YouTube. Follow Bruno on Twitter.
