TavernHold blends daytime inn management with nighttime tower defense in a unique single-player experience. Players build a profitable roadside tavern, gather resources, and defend it from undead waves. Workers can be assigned to collect food and timber, construct rooms and tables, repair defenses, or man the walls at night. Feeding travelers and renting rooms generates gold, which can be reinvested in faster workers, resource nodes, and stronger defenses. Spending wood allows upgrades like tables, guest rooms, spike traps, stronger gates, and new resource outposts. Each run features a random daily bonus that changes jugabilidad, encouraging adaptation and strategic planning. As time passes, stronger bonuses become more likely, pushing players to evolve their tactics. At night, players defend the inn using walls, traps, and a powerful ballista. Strategic placement of defenses and traps slows or stops undead attacks, while upgrading the ballista with new arrow types helps hold the line. Research unlocks special upgrades, and crafting new arrow types adds variety to combat.
