Syntherion

Syntherion blends the expansive feel of AAA sci-fi titles like *Elite Dangerous* into a compact 2D top-down shooter, wrapped in an 80s synthwave aesthetic. Every weapon in the game syncs with a dynamic electronic banda sonora—your shields hum, beam weapons play melodies, and your power core sets the rhythm. Switch weapons mid-combat to remix your own synthwave track live. Players choose from a variety of ships, each with unique stats and setups, and dive into procedurally generated levels across themed worlds known as Verses. These include neon-lit voids, glowing reefs, and massive structures. The game supports 1-4 player co-op, with branching portals allowing seamless team splits and reunions without menus or loading screens. Currently in pre-alpha and in friends-and-family testing, Syntherion already features four distinct Verses, five playable ships, and over 40 ship components. The journey is just beginning. This is a fresh take on space combat with a musical twist.
