Symphonia (Student Project, 2020)
Symphonia is a 2020 student project that blends video game and 3D animation into a poetic platformer experience. Players step into the shoes of a violinist, exploring a vast, abandoned world through music. The game centers on using a violin and bow to journey toward the realm’s core, uncovering the player’s role in the universe while performing the ultimate concerto. Built on PC Engine with Unity 3D, it offers a single-player adventure designed for immersive storytelling. The project highlights creative art direction by Nicolas DERIO, Pierre VREL, Guillaume GILLE, and Alexis GRAND, paired with game design from Simon LARGUIER, Martin LEPRETRE, and Corentin PAUVRASSEAU. Technical development was led by Kilian DUFOUR, Alexandre MANSOIS, and Quentin VERNET, with music and sound crafted by Olivier ESMAN.
