Still life (GMTK Game Jam 2023)

Description

In *Still Life*, a rhythm-driven platformer from GMTK Game Jam 2023, the twist is clear: you don't control the character—you build its path. Inspired by the "Roles Reversed" theme, your role is to place or remove platforms in sync with the beat, guiding a cube that moves automatically at 125 BPM. With only three platform types available, timing is critical—actions can only be taken every half-beat. The goal? Collect all 10 gems scattered across the level in as few steps as possible, where each beat counts as one step. The game features a tutorial and a demo level to help you master its unique mechanics. While minimal in art and sound, the core concept delivers a fresh, challenging twist on rhythm jugabilidad. A known camera bug may limit upward movement, but the experience remains engaging.
