Starbuster
Is a fast-paced, zero-gravity arena shooter where two players battle to mine gems and score in a dynamic, physics-driven environment. The game blends strategic movement, resource management, and high-stakes combat. Players control ships via a gamepad, using a laser to melt frozen blocks and release gems. Each block requires precise timing: lasers charge for 3 seconds, melting blocks in stages—halves at 0.5 seconds, quarters at 0.7, and full vaporization at 1.0. Gems are only revealed after full destruction, adding risk to every shot. The **Forcefield** lets players pull gems toward their goal or reposition obstacles, offering a low-energy alternative to laser attacks. **Projectile Explosives** provide chaos, spawning missiles that scatter blocks and disable opponents. However, overheating from sustained fire slows movement and disables the ship for 3 seconds, creating a tactical edge for sabotage. Matches last 3–7 minutes, with the first.
