Squared Straight
Squared Straight redefines the classic Rubik’s cube experience with its innovative sliding sticker mechanics. Unlike traditional puzzles, its 3³ cube features 54 tiles instead of 26, offering exponentially more combinations thanks to 1/12 rotation increments. While the twisty cube’s movement confines tiles to fixed positions—corners, edges, or centers—Squared Straight allows granular control, letting any tile shift freely across the grid. This distinction demands fresh solving strategies, as algorithms for twisty puzzles won’t apply here. The game also introduces beaded puzzles, where tiles are marked with beads indicating their placement and orientation. For instance, a tile must align its green bead with the green face and white bead with the white face at a specific corner. Unmarked variants take this further, using color-matched tiles that can be swapped freely, enabling limitless configurations. Developed with multithreading for efficiency, puzzles reset seamlessly while preserving tile arrangements. A dynamic camera system ensures smooth navigation, even at massive scales.
