Set in the 1940s-inspired Canopy Kingdom, Skullgirls blends high-stakes drama with supernatural chaos. Every seven years, the Skull Heart—a mystical artifact—emerges, granting a woman's deepest wish but risking her transformation into a destructive Skullgirl if her intentions are impure. Players guide characters through intense battles, switching between fighters mid-match and summoning allies for strategic assists. Drawing inspiration from Marvel vs. Capcom 2, the game emphasizes speed, intricate combos, and original twists, offering both nostalgia and fresh game.
