Shape Arena
Shape Arena is a creative multijugador arena game developed by students at PUC-Rio’s ICAD/VisionLab. Designed as an interdisciplinary project, it blends elements from Computer Engineering, Control and Automation, Computer Science, and Design. Players step into a chalkboard arena, facing off in fast-paced matches against up to three opponents. The goal is to collect as many candies as possible while dodging hazards that appear randomly across the board. Each character—such as the Square, Circle, Triangle, or Star—has unique abilities that influence movement and can knock back rivals. When hit, characters vanish briefly before reappearing at the center, losing one point from their score. Instead of permanent elimination, players can grab candies left behind by fallen opponents. The game features procedurally generated hazards, items, and events, keeping every match dynamic and unpredictable. With no life bars or permanent deaths, Shape Arena focuses on skill, strategy, and quick reflexes. Choose your shape wisely and turn the chalkboard into your personal battleground. Shape Arena delivers.
