Seroutte

Seroutte is a concise, atmospheric horror experience inspired by the developer’s nightmares. Set in a surreal, dreamlike world, it delves into themes of helplessness, fear of darkness, and the unease lurking in the unknown. Players wake up in an unfamiliar house, driven only by the need for water and sleep. The game focuses on exploration, allowing interaction with objects that may reveal clues or progress the story. Released in 2019 on Itch and later on Steam, this edition includes several quality-of-life updates. Though brief, Seroutte delivers a strong emotional impact through its immersive environment and sense of isolation. The developer, working alone, aimed to learn and grow through this project. Future updates promise improved audio, translations, and additional features. Currently, it runs smoothly on Steam Deck with minor bugs expected to be resolved.
