Salt 2: Shores of Gold is a pirate-themed open-world game that blends exploration, crafting, survival, and RPG mechanics. You wake up stranded on an island and must gather resources to build a raft and set sail. Explore the world solo or with up to five friends, using your ship as a mobile base. Discover hundreds of hand-crafted caves, ruins, pirate forts, and mysterious locations. Follow the main storyline to uncover the world's secrets, or join guilds to build your reputation. Craft weapons and armor, hunt and fish to survive, level up your character with unique skills, and decorate your ship with over 100 customizable items. Unlike other pirate games, Salt 2 focuses on PVE content—no naval combat or player attacks. The procedurally generated world lets you sail in any direction, using a compass and sextant to navigate by map coordinates.
