Ritual of the Moon
Is a 28-day narrative-driven experience that delves into themes of isolation, power, and healing. Players step into the shoes of a witch exiled by the Earth’s Council to the moon, where they reflect daily on her past, meditate at her altar, and face pivotal life-or-death decisions. Each day involves five minutes of jugabilidad—solving memory puzzles, drawing symbols, receiving mantras, and shaping the fate of the Earth. Choices made throughout the cycle influence one of six distinct endings, while the game subtly tracks emotional shifts tied to the lunar rhythm. Crafted entirely by hand, the game blends scanned physical objects, embroidery, wood-burned mantras, and mixed media like clay, fabric, and recycled tech. Designed by Kara Stone with art by Rekha Ramachandran and Julia Gingrich, it features soundscapes by Halina Heron and Maggie McLean. Developed by a collaborative team including Chris Kerich and others, it’s a meditative journey.
