RhayThem (2023)

Description

RhayThem is a fast-paced rhythm shoot 'em up designed for Windows, built with Unity as part of a Game Programming assignment in August 2023. This marks the developer's second Unity project, blending music-driven jugabilidad with survival mechanics. Players control RhayThem using mouse commands: aim and shoot to the beat, or dash both for movement and attacks. Enemies appear in endless waves, each capable of unique attacks and dropping ammo or points upon defeat. Destructible obstacles, including explosive hazards, add strategic depth. The game emphasizes rhythm-based action, where timing and reflexes determine survival. Developed using Unity, Visual Studio Code, Adobe Photoshop, and After Effects, RhayThem showcases a clean UI inspired by cyberpunk and sci-fi aesthetics.
