Set in a reimagined versión of Earth’s past, *Reversed Front* explores a world shaped by the rise and fall of empires. Four centuries ago, the House of Aisin Giro from Manchuria forged a vast empire through conquest and cunning, uniting the Cathayan Continent’s realms—Tartaria’s steppes, Turkestan’s deserts, Tibet’s snowfields, and China’s farmlands—under a fragile empire. A century later, a coup toppled Aisin Giro, fracturing the land into warring states. Decades of conflict followed, culminating in the Communist-led “United Front” strategy, which reshaped the map by absorbing former territories into the Republic. Now, a century later, the Republic faces a crumbling regime marked by corruption and oppression, sparking a new era of rebellion. Taiwan, a lingering shadow of the old empire, resists Communist dominance. Players navigate a complex web of alliances, betrayals, and ideological battles in a world where history’s echoes.
