RANGER VS. DRONES
Is a VR experiment developed by the University of Bremen, exploring how different reward systems influence player experience in immersive environments. This study invites VR owners to participate in a unique investigation focused on motivation and engagement. After completing a short survey—accessible via the "External Links" section—players will enter the game as the last ranger defending a western saloon from waves of futuristic drones. Armed only with two guns, players must shoot down as many drones as possible while providing feedback after each round. The goal is to assess how reward structures impact enjoyment and persistence in VR. Participation lasts about 15–20 minutes and is open only to those aged 18 and over. Your insights will help shape future VR games and training applications. Complete the survey first, then join the game for a dynamic, action-packed experience. Thank you for contributing to this research. Your input is invaluable.
