There, he teams up with the scatterbrained Captain Krimskrams, who needs help breaking a curse cast by the elusive Pirate King. To reach him, Pumuckl must collect pirate doubloons and unlock a magical door. Explore four fantastical realms—from tropical islands to ancient ruins—via enchanted doorways, solve clever puzzles, dodge skeleton pirates, and survive kobold-sized traps. With help from the cheeky parrot Krakula, who alternates between advice and mockery, the duo battles ghostly foes and unravels mini-games filled with memory challenges and collecting quests. Play solo or team up locally as Captain Krimskrams in co-op mode. The final showdown with the Pirate King spans multiple phases, blending puzzle-solving, combat.
