Progetto Ustica
Is a powerful, narrative-driven experience that brings to life one of Italy’s most tragic moments. Set aboard a DC9 aircraft during its final minutes on June 27, 1980, the game immerses players in a short but intense flight over the Tyrrhenian Sea. Designed for PC and soon compatible with Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, it offers a first-person perspective, letting players explore the cabin, interact with objects, and uncover hidden details. Players can unlock multiple viewpoints—including military radar, a lone fisherman’s night sky, and more—offering unique insights into the event. The game also features authentic audio logs from radio communications and contextual information about the military operations, investigations, and aftermath. Developed with input from survivors’ families and educational partners, **Progetto Ustica** serves as both a tribute and a learning tool. It invites players to reflect on history through immersive storytelling and interactive discovery. This experience is essential for anyone interested in real-life events that shaped Italy’s past.
