The game centers on building farms, mills, bakeries, and more, letting villagers handle daily tasks like harvesting grain and baking bread. As you expand your settlement, trade your goods to grow your economy and unlock new buildings. Strategic land management is key—construct dykes and windmills to reclaim land, but keep an eye on the water, which can bring trade opportunities or dangerous floods. Every structure in the game is based on real Dutch architecture, even appearing in famous works by painters like Vermeer. POLDERS celebrates Dutch heritage, blending history, culture, and the ongoing relationship between land and sea. Build your own piece of Dutch history and enjoy crafting a thriving, authentic village.
