Players take on the role of a worker tasked with harvesting resources in a controlled farming zone, exchanging labor for clean water and mushrooms. The story takes a dramatic turn when a letter arrives, granting the "Award of Excellent Labour" — a mandatory trip to the palace. There, players face turn-based battles against fanatics, rival Overseers, and fellow workers. Combat evolves as you learn new moves, upgrade gear, and gather equipment. Choices made throughout the journey influence the ending, offering multiple conclusions. With strategic combat, deep customization, and a haunting atmosphere, *Pigbert* delivers a unique experience where survival depends on wit and resilience.
