Description

Peridium is a gripping point-and-click horror adventure born from a decade-long Antarctic research project. Dr. James Turner, a mycologist, and his wife uncover ancient fungal life beneath the ice, only for disaster to strike. The game blends tense exploration with dark storytelling, set in a remote research base where isolation amplifies every eerie discovery. Players navigate using intuitive controls: left-click to interact, right-click to examine objects, and manage inventory via the top-left corner. Voice acting adds depth, with multiple endings—though both twist into bleak conclusions. The narrative, crafted by Dave Lloyd, weaves mystery and dread, while Barney Cumming's voice work brings characters to life. Developed in under five days for Adventure Jam 2017, Peridium leverages PowerQuest, a Unity-based tool by Dave himself.
