Overspelled

Overspelled is a fast-paced, top-down roguelite where you take on the role of a wizard battling waves of monsters. The game revolves around collecting and mastering spells that evolve as you progress. Each spell has unique rules that unlock powerful upgrades, letting you control the battlefield with a mix of automatic casting and strategic positioning. You summon allies, cast curses, and unleash a variety of magical attacks—from orbiting fireballs to burning beams—while collecting enemy souls to unlock relics and special abilities. Every run is different, with randomly generated foes, evolving spells, and boss encounters that challenge your choices. Magic Staffs, permanently unlocked, add unique passive effects to each playthrough. Runs last between 10 and 25 minutes, offering intense action and meaningful progression. Will you survive until the boss appears and claim its soul? Overspelled delivers unpredictable, replayable action with deep customization and escalating stakes.
