Of Sense and Soul
Set in 1875 London, *Of Sense and Soul* follows a reserved editorialist, Hugo Brooks, and a free-spirited bachelor, Seamus Charkham, whose lives collide through a misinterpreted ad. Both men grapple with personal regrets and societal expectations, torn between comfort and the possibility of change. The game explores their emotional journeys through two distinct routes, each offering multiple endings shaped by player choices. With over 100,000 words of narrative across three acts, the story unfolds in a richly detailed Victorian setting, brought to life through watercolor-inspired visuals. Players navigate timed decision menus and writing composition systems, shaping the protagonists’ paths. Accessibility features ensure inclusivity, while a haunting original banda sonora enhances immersion. Extras include a concept art gallery, music collection, and bonus scenes, deepening the experience. The demo showcases the prologue and half of Act 1, covering both routes with 15,000+ words of content. A poignant tale of love, self-discovery, and societal constraints.
