Nuclear Design Bureau
Nuclear Design Bureau drops you into the role of Chief Engineer for a secret Soviet nuclear design bureau, tasked with creating functional devices under strict material constraints. As you receive directives, you’ll design and test prototypes using a physics-driven sandbox environment. Build components on a grid, simulate detonations in en tiempo real, and refine your designs based on results. The game emphasizes realistic physics, including shockwaves, heat, radiation, and chain reactions, all visible through an interactive detonation viewer. With Campaign Directives guiding structured missions and a Sandbox Mode offering unlimited experimentation, players can iterate endlessly to optimize performance. The current Early Access build is fully playable, featuring core mechanics like design, simulation, and refinement, alongside save/load systems and ongoing stability improvements. Expect future updates to balance, physics upgrades, and expanded campaign content. Nuclear Design Bureau delivers a hands-on engineering experience where every failure is a step toward mastery. The project remains in active development, with changes and enhancements on the horizon.
