Next Up Hero Beta invites players into a unique 2D action adventure where teamwork and strategy define survival. Set in the Spiral Shards, the game challenges heroes to face relentless waves of enemies, relying on clever tactics and community-driven jugabilidad. Each hero, chosen from a roster of nine, brings distinct weapons and abilities—from swords and rocket launchers to boomerangs and laser turrets—to tackle the Ceaseless Dirge. Death isn't the end; it's a chance to leave behind an Echo, which a teammate can revive as an AI ally. This cycle of sacrifice and revival fuels a shared experience, turning every session into a collective victory. The game's core mechanic revolves around the Community Continue system, where progress is shared and celebrated. Players earn entry into the Champions Trials each month, competing against the toughest digital foes in high-stakes contests. Developed with input from the community, starting with an exclusive closed beta at RTX and launching on Steam Early Access this fall, Next Up Hero evolves through player feedback.
