Mud River

Mud River is a fast-paced 2D arcade shooter where players pilot a spaceship to eliminate enemies using two primary weapons with unlimited ammo and three secondary options, adjusted by collecting power spheres. Set in a dystopian world, the story follows Pacal the Great, who returns to Earth to recover sacred artifacts hidden in America after fleeing millennia ago. Now, the planet faces destruction under the tyrannical Dr. Wellin, who exploits ancient temples as polluting industries. Pacal teams up with Zacharias, an AI guiding him through seven critical missions to restore biodiversity and stop Wellin’s environmental devastation. The narrative intertwines myth and sci-fi, with the Rio Doce—a once-pristine river—now a battleground for survival. Players must navigate fiery trails and confront Wellin’s forces to reach the villain’s lab, recover stolen relics, and prevent ecological collapse. Mud River blends retro jugabilidad with a compelling tale of redemption.
