Mountaincore

Mountaincore lets players create and manage a growing colony in a richly simulated fantasy world. Starting with seven dwarves, you can expand to hundreds, building a thriving settlement in a dynamic environment where weather and seasons constantly shape your strategy. Each settler has unique needs and ambitions, pushing you to balance individual desires with the community’s well-being. The game features an extensive crafting system that ensures no resource goes to waste, encouraging efficient production chains. As your colony grows, you unlock skill tiers to craft superior tools and weapons, and trade with merchants to boost your resources. For those who prefer a calmer experience, Peaceful Mode offers a relaxing city-building challenge. The game also supports Twitch integration, letting viewers influence your colony through custom settler names. Developed with modding in mind, Mountaincore is now open source and freely available after the original team shut down. It runs on Steam Deck and is fully compatible, pending official confirmation from Valve. We hope you enjoy building and exploring this immersive world.
