Description

Masks of Deception is a 6-player cooperative horror experience where every decision could mean life or death. You play as Purgers, tasked with uncovering and exorcising a demon before it claims three victims and completes its ritual. The catch? The demon isn't the only threat—other players may hide sinister intentions, and some enemies only strike when provoked. Exploration is key: paranormal zones shift across the map, revealing clues about the demon's identity. But trust is fragile; team members can vanish without warning, giving the demon a chance to act. As the demon gathers demon books to empower its ritual, each Purger must stay close to their allies, investigate thoroughly, and avoid suspicion. With every wrong move, the demon grows stronger, and time runs out. Once three books are placed, the final showdown begins. A single correct vote triggers the exorcism and saves the group. Fail, and the demon is unleashed. Even after death, players return as ghosts with new objectives: destroy demon books and recover sacred pages scattered across.
