Liquid Space
Liquid Space immerses players in a unique VR experience where they can manipulate ultra-realistic fluids in zero gravity aboard the International Space Station. Using intuitive VR controllers, users can push, capture, split, and throw liquids, observing how surface tension and real physics transform these amorphous substances into mesmerizing, psychedelic patterns. The game’s interactive environment simulates realistic fluid dynamics, allowing collisions with station equipment and walls for a visually stunning and educational experience. Designed as a sandbox-style simulation, it’s perfect for both learning about space phenomena and enjoying creative play. Previously limited to supercomputer-level rendering, this level of realism is now accessible in VR. The developers plan to integrate similar features into a future level of their Apollo 17 Moonbuggy VR app. Currently, there’s no set objective—just open-ended experimentation. Players are encouraged to explore, share feedback, and suggest new challenges to enhance the experience. Liquid Space offers both fun and educational value in a visually captivating setting. Try it out and help shape its future.
