Description

Lake of Reflection is a poignant visual novel blending narrative depth with emotional storytelling. Set against a backdrop of war and sorrow, the game follows a stranger stranded on a remote island, guided by a mysterious guardian toward healing. Intertwined with the main plot are layered tales of an ice dragon and a water dragon, inviting players to engage with themes of loss, recovery, and human connection. The story emphasizes community, resilience, and finding meaning after tragedy, offering multiple endings shaped by player choices. With 15 detailed backgrounds, 21 mini CG sequences, and a haunting banda sonora from the Creative Commons library, the game delivers a rich, immersive experience. Partially voiced with standout performances by Candaru Driemor, Mage Bunkshelf, Bay Doxey, and Joseph David Spence, it also features art by Yami. Noted for its somber yet hopeful tone, it's ideal for fans of narrative-driven games. Amare and collaborators poured heart into this project, making it a heartfelt tribute to shared creativity.
