Description

Ken ga Kimi invites players into a richly woven historical drama set in Edo-period Japan. The story follows Kayo, a spirited young woman raised in her family's food and tea house, who faces a dramatic twist when a Tokugawa samurai arrives with a life-or-death order. Forced to impersonate a princess within a deceptive bridal procession, Kayo embarks on a journey along the Tōkaidō road. Players step into her shoes, shaping the narrative through meaningful choices that influence relationships and outcomes. The game features six main characters, each offering 24 unique endings based on player decisions. With multiple story paths, including a prequel and sequel, the experience evolves through different perspectives—Ken, the loyal samurai, and Kimi, the transformed heroine. The sequel introduces the Magatama Selection, where four virtues—courage, wisdom, love, and friendship—determine the story's direction. Available in simplified and traditional Chinese, as well as Japanese, Ken ga Kimi blends historical atmosphere with emotional depth.
