Future Fragments - Command Z
Is an immersive VR experience crafted by Michael Ziga, featuring soundscapes by Silvio Buchmeier and contributions from actors Connor Hanwick and Palmer Foote. The installation transports users through three interconnected museum environments, each showcasing reimagined sculptures that blend classical, gothic, and modernist styles. Unlike traditional exhibits, visitors are invited to actively engage with the art by throwing the digital relics across the space, triggering their destruction. This interactive twist challenges conventional museum norms, turning preservation into a dynamic act of creation. The sculptures themselves are born from 3D scans of iconic works housed in The Metropolitan, Louvre, Uffizi, and the Acropolis, digitally altered to forge new forms from ancient fragments. A thought-provoking blend of art, technology, and rebellion, Future Fragments redefines how we experience history. This innovative project invites players to rethink the boundaries between past and future. It’s a must-try for those seeking bold, experimental VR art.
