Description
Is an interactive animation experience that brings to life the sensory memories of five friends from their childhood at age five. Through interviews and personal stories, the game explores how these early moments feel and unfold. Players engage with select episodes by making choices at key points, encouraging active participation and discovery. The experience is enhanced by simple hand-drawn animation that sparks imagination and emotional connection. Subtitles are available in both Japanese and English, offering accessibility to a wider audience. The game runs for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, making it a concise yet meaningful journey. Notable features include interactive segments that require player input and a unique visual style that captures the essence of memory and nostalgia. Developed by Komitsu Engineer, with animation and design by Shoto Hayakawa, and music by Natsumi Nogawa, *Five Years Old Memories* was created as part of the Artists-in-Residence Online program at NTT InterCommunication Center [ICC]. It has been showcased in several exhibitions, including the ICC.
